My country is the Bhagavad Gita. My country is a fiery Sita. My country is the holy land of the river Ganges. The rulers who ruled this land have changed it into a holy land. The Bhagavad Gita is not a scripture. It is the torch of life.

Benifits of reading Hanuman Chalisa

When can we start reading Hanuman Chalisa ?
The Hanuman Chalisa is a Hindu devotional hymn (stotra) addressed to Lord Hanuman. It has been authored by 16th-century poet Tulsidas in the Awadhi language, and is his best known text apart from the Ramcharitmanas. The word "chālīsā" is derived from "chālīs", which means the number forty in Hindi, as the Hanuman Chalisa has 40 verses (excluding the couplets at the beginning and at the end). A rendition of Hanuman Chalisa sung by Gulshan Kumar and Hariharan has received more than 1.1 billion views on YouTube, as of July 2020, becoming the first devotional song in the platform to achieve this feat.
Hanuman is a devotee of Ram and one of the central characters in a well known Hindu epic, the Ramayan. According to the Shaivite tradition, Lord Hanuman is also an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Folk tales acclaim the powers of Hanuman. The qualities of Hanuman – his strength, courage, wisdom, celibacy, devotion to Lord Rama and the many names by which he was known – are detailed in the Hanuman Chalisa. Recitation or chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa is a common religious practice. The Hanuman Chalisa is the most popular hymn in praise of Lord Hanuman, and is recited by millions of Hindus every day.
Tulsidas (1497/1532 - 1623) was a Hindu poet-saint, reformer and philosopher known for his devotion to Rama. Composer of many famous compositions, he is best known as the author of the epic Ramcharitmanas, a reconstruction of the late Ramayana. Tulsidas was ready for the rebirth of the original Sanskrit Ramayana writer Valmiki during his lifetime. Tulsidas lived in the city of Varanasi until his death. Tulsi Ghat in Varanasi is named after him. He founded the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple in Varunasi dedicated to Hanuman, which is believed to be the place where he saw Hanuman. Tulsidas introduced Ramlila, a parody of the Ramayana folk theater. He is one of the greatest poets in Hindi, Indian and world literature. The influence of Tulsidas and his compositions on Indian art, culture and society is widespread and can be seen in the writings of Ramlila, Hindustani classical music, popular music and television series.

Sadhguru answers a question about the Ram Janmabhumi in Ayodhya, and speaks about the laying of the foundation stone for the temple and its significance for the people of India.
Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is a Hindu temple that is being built at the sacred pilgrimage site of Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh, India. Ram Janmabhoomi is believed to be the birthplace of Rama by Hindus. The temple construction will be undertaken by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. The temple has been designed by the Sompura family of Gujarat.
Rama, considered an incarnation of god Vishnu, is a widely worshiped Hindu deity. According to the ancient Indian epic, Ramayana, Rama was born in Ayodhya. This became known as Ram Janmabhoomi or Ram's birthplace. In the 15th century, the Mughals constructed a mosque, the Babri Masjid, on Ram Janmabhoomi. Hindus believe that the mosque was built after razing a Hindu temple. It was only in the 1850s when the dispute surfaced in a violent form.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had announced that it would lay the foundation stone of the temple on the disputed territory, before being ordered to stop by the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court. The VHP then collected funds and bricks with "Shree Ram" written on them. Later, the Rajiv Gandhi ministry gave the VHP the permission for the Shilanyas, with then Home Minister Buta Singh formally granting the permission to then VHP leader Ashok Singhal. Initially the Centre and state governments had agreed upon the conducting of the Shilanyas outside of the disputed site. However, on 9 November 1989, a group of VHP leaders and Sadhus laid the foundation stone by digging a 7 cubic foot pit on the disputed land. The singhdwar (transl. main entrance) of the sanctum sanctorum was laid here. Kameshwar Chaupal (a Dalit leader from Bihar) became one of the first people to lay the stone.
The violent form of the dispute escalated in December 1992 when the demolition of the Babri Masjid took place. Various title and legal disputes also took place, such as the passage of the Acquisition of Certain Area at Ayodhya Ordinance, 1993. It was only after the 2019 Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya dispute that it was decided the disputed land be handed over to a trust formed by the Government. The trust formed was Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. On 5 February 2020, it was announced in the parliament that the Union Council of Ministers had accepted a scheme to construct the temple.
Ram Lalla, the deity of the temple, was a litigant in the court case of the dispute since 1989. He was represented by Triloki Nath Pandey, a senior VHP leader who was considered as Ram Lalla's next 'human' friend.
The original design for the Ram temple was prepared in 1988 by the Sompura family of Ahmedabad. The Sompuras have been part of the temple design of over 100 temples all over the world for at least 15 generations. A new design for Ram temple, with some changes from the original design, was prepared by the Sompuras in 2020. The temple will be 235 feet wide, 360 feet long and 161 feet high. The chief architect of the temple is Chandrakant Sompura along with his two sons Nikhil Sompura and Ashish Sompura, who are also architects. The Sompura family have designed the Ram temple following 'Nagara' style architecture, one of the types of Indian temple architecture.
The temple complex will have a prayer hall, "a Ramkatha Kunj (lecture hall), a Vaidik Pathshala (educational facility), a Sant Niwas (saints residence) and a Yatri Niwas (hostel for visitors)" and other facilities like a museum and a cafeteria. Once complete the temple complex will be the world's third largest Hindu shrine. A model of the proposed temple was showcased during the Prayag Kumbh Mela in 2019.
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam observed the Dakshinayana Punyakala at Sringeri on July 16, 2020. The Dakshinayana occurs when Surya moves from the Mithuna Rashi to the Karkataka Rashi. Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam performed an elaborate Ganga Puja during the Dakshinayana Punya Kala on the southern banks of the Tunga River.
Ganga puja is a religious festival of the northeastern state of Tripura in India. The tribal Tripuri people worship the Goddess of the river, and pray to be saved from epidemic diseases and for the well-being of pregnant women. The celebration involves building a temple of bamboo in the middle of the river or a water stream. The River Ganges, known locally as Ganga, is one of the fourteen prime deities worshipped in this region. The festival is popularly celebrated throughout the state somewhere in March, April or May, with its date fixed according to the Hindu Lunisolar calendar. The 2018 date is 24 May.
Ganga puja is celebrated after the Navanna festival, which marks the rice harvest. Its date is variable, but falls in March or April. It worships the river goddess of the Ganga, or Ganges, one of the fourteen foremost deities of Tripura. On this occasion, tribal communities assemble on the banks of a stream or river and "pare three pieces of bamboo into beautiful flowers". After this they build a temporary temple in the middle of the stream, also made out of bamboo, and hold celebrations reverently. Adult male geese, goats, and even buffalo are sacrificed to the gods, in the belief that through such offerings the gods may use their power to prevent epidemic diseases. Another purpose of the festival is that the gods are reverently asked to ensure the well-being of pregnant women. Throughout the state of Tripura traditional dance forms part of the festival of worship.
Ganga Aarti (ritual of offering prayer to the Ganges river) is held daily at dusk. Several priests perform this ritual by carrying deepam and moving it up and down in a rhythmic tune of bhajans. Special aartis are held on Tuesdays and on religious festivals.
The Ganga Aarti starts soon after sunset and lasts for about 45 minutes. In summer the Aarti begins at about 7pm due to late sunsets and in winter it starts at around 6pm. Hundreds of people gather at the ghat every evening to watch the event.

The most common types of curses and hexes someone may have cast upon you: Love hex, making you fall in love when you don't naturally want to, a Revenge spell, Bad luck hex,
Anger boils curse. This Ekadasha Mukhi Hanumath kavacham, just like Panchamukhi Hanumath Kavacham (armour) is a very powerful version and is an excellent remedy to break black magic spells and all other spells, curses and hexes. To be recited or listened to several times or repeatedly. Hanuman, in Hindu mythology, the monkey commander of the monkey army. His exploits are narrated in the great Hindu Sanskrit poem the Ramayana (“Rama’s Journey”).
While still a baby, Hanuman, the child of a nymph by the wind god, tried to fly up and grab the Sun, which he mistook for a fruit. Indra, the king of the gods, struck Hanuman with a thunderbolt on the jaw (hanu), thus inspiring the name. When Hanuman continued to misbehave, powerful sages cursed him to forget his magic powers, such as the ability to fly or to become infinitely large, until he was reminded of them. Hanuman led the monkeys to help Rama, an avatar (incarnation) of the god Vishnu, recover Rama’s wife, Sita, from the demon Ravana, king of Lanka (likely not the present-day Sri Lanka). Having been reminded of his powers by Jambavan, the king of the bears, Hanuman crossed the strait between India and Lanka in one leap, despite the efforts of watery demonesses to stop him by swallowing him or his shadow. He was discovered in Lanka, and his tail was set on fire, but he used that fire to burn down Lanka. Hanuman also flew to the Himalayas and returned with a mountain full of medicinal herbs to restore the wounded in Rama’s army.
Hanuman is worshipped as a subsidiary figure in temples dedicated to Rama or directly in shrines dedicated to Hanuman himself. The latter are generally thronged by monkeys, who know that they cannot be mistreated there. In temples throughout India, he appears in the form of a monkey with a red face who stands erect like a human. For his service to Rama, Hanuman is upheld as a model for all human devotion (bhakti).Bhajrangi
Hanuman is also a popular figure among Buddhists in Central, Southeast, and East Asia, and throughout those areas many temples have been erected for his worship and districts of towns bear his name. Although steadfastly chaste in the Sanskrit tradition, for instance, he has wives and children in other traditions. He has been identified as the inspiration for the monkey hero of the great Chinese poem Xiyouji (“Journey to the West”). In India Hanuman is revered by the nationalist Hindu organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and he has been depicted as a fierce superhero in a popular series of comic books. The Hanuman langur (Semnopithecus entellus), one of the most common Indian monkeys, is named after the Ramayana character.
Hanumath kavacham in precise Sanskrit pronunciation. Proved to be very powerful and a great protection. Seeks the protection of Ekadashamukhi Hanuman by calling forth all eleven faces of Hanumanji.
Obedience, in human behavior, is a form of "social influence in which a person yields to explicit instructions or orders from an authority figure". Obedience is generally distinguished from compliance, which is behavior influenced by peers, and from conformity, which is behavior intended to match that of the majority. Depending on context, obedience can be seen as moral, immoral, or amoral.
Humans have been shown to be obedient in the presence of perceived legitimate authority figures, as shown by the Milgram experiment in the 1960s, which was carried out by Stanley Milgram to find out how the Nazis managed to get ordinary people to take part in the mass murders of the Holocaust. The experiment showed that obedience to authority was the norm, not the exception. Regarding obedience, Milgram said that "Obedience is as basic an element in the structure of social life as one can point to. Some system of authority is a requirement of all communal living, and it is only the man dwelling in isolation who is not forced to respond, through defiance or submission, to the commands of others." A similar conclusion was reached in the Stanford prison experiment.
Ugadi is the New Year's Day for the Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana states in India. It is festively observed in these regions on the first day of the Hindu lunisolar calendar month of Chaitra. This typically falls in March or April of the Gregorian calendar.
The day is observed by drawing colorful patterns on floor called kolamulus ( Kannada: Rangoli , Telugu: Muggulu, ) mango leaf decorations on doors called torana (kannada : torana,Telugu: Toranalu ), buying and giving gifts such as new clothes, giving charity to the poor, special bath followed by oil treatment, preparing and sharing a special food called pachadi, and visiting Hindu temples. The pachadi is a notable festive food that combines all flavors – sweet, sour, salty, bitter, astringent and piquance (spicy hot). In Telugu and Kannada Hindu traditions, it is a symbolic reminder that one must expect all flavors of experiences in the coming new year and make the most of them.
Ugadi has been an important and historic festival of the Hindus, with medieval texts and inscriptions recording major charitable donations to Hindu temples and community centers on this day. The same day is observed as a New Year by Hindus in many other parts of India. For example, it is called Gudi Padwa in Maharashtra, but sometimes observed a Gregorian day earlier because the lunar day starts and ends in Hindu calendar according to the position of the moon. In Karnataka, the festival is celebrated as Yugadi.

Aries is the first astrological sign in the zodiac, spanning the first 30 degrees of celestial longitude and originates from the constellation of the same name. Under the tropical zodiac, the Sun transits this sign from approximately March 20 to April 21 each year. This time duration is exactly the first month of the Solar Hijri calendar (Hamal/Farvardin/Wray).
According to the tropical system of astrology, the Sun enters the sign of Aries when it reaches the March equinox, which occurs on average on March 21 (by design). Because the Earth takes approximately 365.24 days to go around the Sun, the precise time of the equinox is not the same each year, and generally will occur about six hours later from one year to the next until reset by a leap year. February 29 of a leap year causes that years vernal equinox to fall about eighteen hours earlier—according to the calendar—compared with the previous year. From 1800 to 2050 inclusive the vernal equinox date has (or will) range(d) from March 19 at 22:34 UT1 in 2048 to March 21 at 19:15 UT1 in 1903.

Jyotisha or Jyotishya (from Sanskrit jyotiṣa) is the traditional Hindu system of astrology, also known as Hindu astrology, and more recently Vedic astrology. The term Hindu astrology has been in use as the English equivalent of Jyotiṣa since the early 19th century, whereas Vedic astrology is a relatively recent term, entering common usage in the 1970s with self-help publications on Āyurveda or yoga. Vedanga Jyotishya is one of the earliest texts about astronomy within the Vedas. However, some authors have claimed that the horoscopic astrology practiced in the Indian subcontinent came from Hellenistic influences, post-dating the Vedic period. Some authors argue that in the mythologies Ramayana and Mahabharata, only electional astrology, omens, dreams and physiognomy are used but there have been several articles and blogs published which cites multiple references in those books about rashi (zodiac sign) based astrology.
Following a judgement of the Andhra Pradesh High Court in 2001 which favoured astrology, some Indian universities now offer advanced degrees in Hindu astrology, despite protest from the scientific community. Astrology is rejected as pseudoscience by the scientific community, but the government did not agree.
The nakshatras or lunar mansions are 27 equal divisions of the night sky used in Hindu astrology, each identified by its prominent star(s).
Historical (medieval) Hindu astrology enumerated either 27 or 28 nakṣatras. In modern astrology, a rigid system of 27 nakṣatras is generally used, each covering 13° 20′ of the ecliptic. The missing 28th nakshatra is Abhijeeta. Each nakṣatra is divided into equal quarters or padas of 3° 20′. Of greatest importance is the Abhiśeka Nakṣatra, which is held as king over the other nakṣatras. Worshipping and gaining favour over this nakṣatra is said to give power to remedy all the other nakṣatras, and is of concern in predictive astrology and mitigating Karma.
