Brihaspati is the Guru of the Gods. As the Guru of the Gods, Brihaspati teaches religion, philosophy and morals of cohesion and unity. Of all the planets, Jupiter is considered to be the most benefic and gentile. It is believed that afflictions to Guru or Brihaspati can mean bad luck.

Graha is the 'cosmic influencer' on the living beings of mother Bhumidevi (Earth). The Navgraha are some of these major influencers. The Navgraha includes - Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu & Ketu.

Plot:
Shankara decides to become a saint at very tender age. Agni Devudu (Tanikella Bharani), Rudraksha Rushi (Mohan Babu) and Chandaludu (Nagarjuna) help him to realise his dream. Once Adishankara reaches a certain age, he wants to set out to Kasi. While he is on his way to Kasi, Kapala Marthanda Raju (Suman) tries to seize the Sarvaghna Peetam. How Adhishankara stops the Peetham from falling into the wrong hands will form the rest of the story.

Why Do We Offer only Panakam, Vadapappu as Naivedyam on Sri Rama Navami?


Vadapappu panakam are offered to Lord Rama on his birthday i.e Sri Rama Navami festival celebrated by Hindus. Vadapappu is nothing but soaked moong dal that is served with jaggery and chalimidi (rice flour based sweet) and panakam. There is savory version of vadapappu where grated raw mango, coconut and green chilies are added to soaked yellow moong dal.
